Senior Product Manager Apparel, ORI/BB

Purpose & Overall Relevance for the Organization:

 

  • Bring consumer and sport/street insights into your concepts
  • Execute the category direction and drive implementation
  • Work with all creation functions to deliver product concepts and execute strategic plans to win local markets.
  • Create ranges within the category from both an image and commercial point of view

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

  • Proactively manage range direction and sharpen the creation direction within sport/street area to create leading product winning the market.
  • Propose a clear strategy for the range and execution plan, be considered as a range expert by key relation team and markets.
  • Show full understanding of the product creation process whilst managing all tasks within the given time frames, with special attention to speed to market
  • Work within cross-functional team and with interlinked departments to enable an efficient product creation process with an optimum product outcome
  • Strong & actively analyse business, draw conclusions and propose action steps
  • Strong knowledge of product information systems and the interlinking functions to maintain and enable smooth product info updating.
  • Prepare and present ranges and business-related topics - with respective audience in mind - by using relevant structure and content
  • Actively provide input for setting the CtC (Concept to Consumer) direction and implement it into relevant ranges in partnership with CtC counterparts
  • Work independently on projects and follow up on project development, be proactive, flexible, solution driven to ensure project delivery.

  • Maintain a strong relationship and ensure constant dialogue/feedback with
    • Business unit and across other BU´s
    • Cross-functional team (Design, Operations, Materials, Costing, Planning, Process)
    • Global headquarter and key APAC counterpart (JP/KR/EM)
    • FTW team to create concrete head to toe look

 

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

 

  • Strong knowledge of sport/street industry and familiar with local market landscape to ensure right strategic findings to win
  • Deep product knowledge of product creation, consume and retail knowledge in regard to fulfill different needs within GCA market.
  • Strong communication skills - transport and deliver information clear and effectively
  • Cooperate well and effectively to maintain and develop trustful relationships with cross function
  • Work independently as well as part of a team
  • Plan and prioritize daily working time effectively with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong analytical skills, be solution driven and result oriented
  • Ability to travel
  • Actively interested in lifestyle and/or fashion, passion for sport
  • People management experiences would be a plus but not mandatory

 

Requisite Education and Experience / Minimum Qualifications:

 

  • College degree, preferably in marketing / business / fashion
  • Minimum of 7 years Product Marketing experience with APP background in/or Sport/Street/Fashion brands, experienced in large business scale will be preferred
  • Preferably with womenswear/unisex-wear background
  • Experience in trade, vertical retail business model or sales is helpful
  • Fluent in English
  • PC skills (MS Office programs, especially PowerPoint and Excel)
