Senior Product Owner, Product Discovery
PURPOSE & OVERALL RELEVANCE FOR THE ORGANISATION:
As the Product Owner, you will be mainly responsible for product & story at China Digital Hub, you will own the end-to-end digital experience of brand products, ensuring they are discoverable, engaging, and aligned with consumer needs. By driving product detail enrichment, wayfinding, search optimization, and content syndication, you will enhance how consumers interact with products across digital channels.
Your role is critical in translating product features—such as sports credibility, innovation, and size accuracy—into compelling digital narratives that drive conversion and brand loyalty. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement campaigns and automation tools, ensuring seamless updates and consistent product representation.
Through data-driven insights and consumer feedback, you will continuously refine the product experience, improving search findability to meet business goals. Your work will not only deliver immediate results but also establish a scalable foundation for long-term growth, positioning our products as leaders in the digital space.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Product Strategy & Delivery
- Drive product experience and wayfinding strategies to ensure accurate, consistent, and easily discoverable product information across all digital channels.
- Collaborate with tech and operations partners to bring industry-trending search capabilities that suit both business and consumer needs to e-commerce.
- Be accountable for capabilities delivery in line with the roadmap and committed delivery dates.
- Identify and solve dependencies with other product owners and cross function stakeholders to ensure efficient delivery.
- Be able to lead the delivery with agile or hybrid model with internal and external combined delivery team.
- Suport ad hoc projects if needed.
Stakeholder Management
- Represent the business for the product, fostering strong relationships with key stakeholders to ensure professional demand analysis and effective translation into the product backlog.
- Work as one team with tech delivery task forces to guarantee high-quality deliverables with proper velocity.
- Work closely with product owners counterparts as well as other core components globally to ensure the digital platform product roads maps addresses the China for China business needs, meanwhile be part of and well-integrated with global solution landscape.
Backlog Management
- Prioritize product backlog items in close collaboration with China business, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives.
- Continuously refine the product backlog to ensure teams deliver the right enhancements that drive both consumer and business value.
- Provide final acceptance for completed backlog items, ensuring they meet the definition of done.
Monitoring
- Monitor, optimize, and enhance the configuration, features, and functionalities related to business domain solutions.
- Define key performance metrics from a business perspective and lead platform evolution based on data-driven insights.
- Ensure ongoing value realization, tracking, and continuous improvement.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience working in a Digital and/or eCommerce environment.
- 2+ years of experience in brand product management or operation, with deep understanding of the underlying capabilities and mechanisms of e-commerce platform product and search.
- Hands-on experience with AI-driven search applications, such as NLP, personalization, and recommendation systems is preferred.
Hard-Skills
- Strong data mining and analytics skills, with the ability to derive actionable insights from search behavior and performance metrics.
- In-depth understanding of search technology frameworks.
- Familiarity with A/B testing or other multivariate testing
- Fluent in English both verbally and written
Soft-Skills
- Strong communication and collaboration skills to coordinate cross-functional teams and external partners.
- Problem-solving and resilience to drive execution in complex environments.
