Sr Manager Demand Planning Data Analysis
Responsibilities:
Business decision enablement
- Establish sample data panel for sales, purchasing and inventory planning to enable scientific analytics by leveraging AI modelling or advanced data-driven analytical tools;
- Conduct POC of advanced modelling on sales, purchasing and inventory forecasting;
- Analyze planning data to identify risks and opportunities across buy, sell and inventory management.
- Conduct holistic analysis of planning data to identify improvement areas in daily operations and processes.
- Translate business questions and concerns into specific analytical questions that can be answered through data analysis.
- Work with DNA to improve sell-out forecasting models and algorithms, including NOS and key franchise/category.
- Support data-driven decision-making through structured analysis, clear insights and cross-functional collaboration.
Dashboard / reporting / Data foundation:
- Work with DNA and technology teams to enhance the data foundation, elevate end-to-end data governance and quality, and unlock reporting and dashboards.
- Drive data and reporting AI solutions to simplify daily work, support data-driven decision-making and enable ad-hoc analysis.
- Deliver and enhance planning/forecasting tools or BI reporting solutions, champion improvements in data technology and AI applications, simplify communication and enable business decisions.
KPIs:
- Control and steer all relevant Metrics and KPIs of Demand Planning data quality and accuracy, i.e. SP, OC, Sell out forecasting, Inventory Rolling, etc.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Strong knowledge of analytics, PowerBI and AI-driven data techniques, especially in data processing by SQL, Python, MATLAB, R, etc.
- Solid statistical analysis skills (e.g., sampling/validation, causal analysis, outlier detection and back-trend testing). Apply AI-driven automation to develop data cleaning and reformatting scripts.
- Passion for problem solving and business improvement.
- Ability to manage complex situation and challenges
- Good communication and negotiation skills
- Strong business acumen and insights in sports or retail industry.
- Ability to think end to end
- Good English in both speaking and writing.
Educational Background/ Minimum requirements:
- Qualified to Master’s Degree level or equivalent relevant experience
- 5+ years of work experience in analytics and technology, with hands-on experience in data validation/quality, large-scale database administration and dashboarding/reporting.
- 2-3 years project management experience
