Y-3 Senior Manager, National Retail Operations GCA

Purpose & Overall Relevance

Fully responsible for Y-3 national retail operation, sales growth, inventory health, VIP relationship management and team development. Drive premium customer experience, retail excellence, inventory turnover and business performance across all stores in China.

 

Key Responsibilities
Strategy & Planning:
- Develop annual national retail objectives, strategies and action plans.
- Align with sales, channel and merchandising teams to drive growth and market share.
- Establish KPI tracking, review and adjustment mechanism to ensure target delivery.

Retail Operations & Store Management:
- Own end-to-end retail operation; ensure VM, service and customer experience compliant with global brand standards.
- Plan and conduct store audits to strengthen retail excellence execution.
- Analyze sales, sell-through, productivity, and develop improvement initiatives.
- Develop and roll out retail operation tools, SOP and systems to improve efficiency.

Inventory & Merchandise Management:
- Lead national inventory health management, including stock depth, SKU structure, stock rotation and aged inventory control.
- Monitor store inventory turnover, stock-to-sales ratio, in-stock rate and sell-through rate; take proactive actions to optimize inventory efficiency.
- Collaborate with merchandising team on allocation, replenishment, promotion inventory planning and stock clearance.
- Ensure store inventory accuracy, cycle count and loss prevention control.

CRM & VIP Customer Management:
- Establish and optimize national CRM and VIP management system and process.
- Develop VIP acquisition, maintenance, activation and repurchase strategies to drive VIP contribution and loyalty.
- Monitor VIP consumption data, frequency, spending and satisfaction; drive regional team to execute VIP care and exclusive activities.
- Enhance high-value customer experience and build long-term VIP relationships for Y-3 brand.

System & Process Management:
- Manage national retail KPI tracking and reporting systems.
- Ensure operational system efficiency, compliance and training.
- Optimize processes to reduce risks and improve consistency.

People & Team Management:
- Build high-performance culture with clear target setting, performance review and timely feedback.
- Manage team structure, hiring, attrition, manpower cost and talent pipeline.
- Cooperate with HR on performance review, succession planning and talent development.
- Achieve HR KPIs including filling rate, attrition rate, productivity and personnel cost control.

Training & Development:
- Identify training needs and ensure high-quality training delivery across regions.
- Enhance in-store consumer satisfaction and premium service experience.

- Net sales, retail formula, gross margin achievement
- Inventory turnover, sell-through rate, stock accuracy, aged inventory control
- Retail excellence execution rate & brand compliance
- VIP contribution ratio, repurchase rate, customer satisfaction
- Staff filling rate, attrition rate, manpower productivity

 

Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or above; business or management preferred
- Minimum 8 years’ experience in multinational retail company
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in national/regional retail management
- Strong experience in inventory control, merchandise operations, CRM and VIP management
- Premium fashion / luxury / designer sportswear background highly preferred
- Fluent in English and Mandarin; excellent presentation and communication skills
- Strong analytical, planning, execution and problem-solving skills
- Result-oriented, customer-oriented, able to travel nationwide
