In-Store Visual Merchandiser (Junior/Senior)
Job Summary:
As an In-Store Visual Merchandiser, you will be responsible for creating an engaging and visually appealing in-store experience that reflects the brand identity, drives product sales, and enhances the customer journey. You will implement visual standards, maintain store aesthetics, and ensure all product displays are creative, on-brand, and optimized for customer interaction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Execute visual merchandising strategies and guidelines to drive foot traffic and sales.
- Execute seasonal window displays, interior setups, and promotional signage.
- Ensure all visual elements (e.g., mannequins, shelving, lighting) are well-maintained and up to date.
- Conduct regular floor walks to assess merchandising effectiveness and make necessary adjustments.
- Monitor inventory levels and ensure product replenishment is timely and well presented.
- Provide feedback to the Visual Merchandising Manager on trends, customer preferences, and performance.
- Assist Instore VM Lead to train store staff on visual merchandising standards and product placement best practices.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in visual merchandising, preferably in a retail or fashion environment.
- Strong sense of aesthetics, creativity, and attention to detail.
- Understanding of retail sales principles and customer psychology.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency in using visual merchandising tools and display equipment.
- Flexibility to work weekends, early mornings, or late evenings during floor changes or store events.
Preferred Skills:
- Background in fashion, interior design, or visual arts is a plus.
- Familiarity with planograms and visual merchandising software.
- Good communication and presentation skills.
- Strong time management and organizational abilities.
