Manager Business Planning & Forecasting
Role Overview
The Manager – E-commerce Planning, Forecasting & Analytics sits at the commercial core of adidas. E-commerce for Southeast Asia and Pacific. The role owns end-to-end planning, forecasting, and performance management for two markets across SEA and PAC, covering Own E-commerce and Marketplaces.
You translate annual targets into monthly, weekly, and daily plans, drive accurate month landings, and ensure cross-functional teams are aligned to deliver Net Sales and profitability targets. The role carries real ownership of numbers and works very closely with E-commerce Leads, Senior Planning leadership, Finance, Marketplace execution teams, Buying, Merchandising, Media, Operations, and EM Hub teams.
What You Will Do

Own annual, monthly, weekly, and daily E-commerce plans across key KPIs including Revenue, Net Sales, Markdowns, Units, Orders, Traffic, Conversion, and Returns & Cancellations.

Lead monthly rolling forecasts, latest estimates, and landing calculations with clear visibility on Risks & Ops.

Drive forecast accuracy through disciplined assumptions, scenario planning, and variance analysis.

Lead weekly performance reviews and support monthly and quarterly business reviews.

Function as the planning and forecasting partner to Marketplace teams that execute day-to-day trading.

Ensure Marketplace targets, promotional phasing, and execution are fully aligned with plans.

Integrate Marketplace performance into total E-commerce forecasts and reporting.

Partner closely with Buying, Merchandising (Product) teams on performance, IBP, buy planning assumptions.

Work with Media and Digital teams across paid, organic, SEO, direct, and CRM channels to embed traffic and conversion assumptions into plans.

Proactively identify risks and drive course correction with key stakeholders.

Work very closely with E-commerce Leads across SEA and Pacific clusters & EM Hub counterparts.

Partner day-to-day with the Senior Manager – Planning, Forecasting & Analytics and closely with the Director – Planning, Forecasting & Analytics.

Engage regularly with Senior Finance stakeholders on reporting monthly landing, run-rate, risks, Opps.

Collaborate with EM Hub, Analytics, Operations, Data Solutions, and Cluster market teams to ensure data consistency and execution alignment.

Who You Are
-
Bachelor’s degree in business, Economics, Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related quantitative discipline.

4-6 years of experience in E-commerce, commercial planning, forecasting, analytics, retail, or marketplace.

Strong understanding of E-commerce and commercial KPIs.

Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (mandatory) for Scenario Planning, Forecasting, and deep-dive analysis.

Strong storytelling and hands-on working knowledge of PowerPoint, MSO collaborations app will be a plus.

Exposure to Power BI, SQL, Databricks, or dashboarding tools is a plus.

Works closely with: Director – Planning, Forecasting & Analytics, E-commerce Leads, Senior Finance stakeholders, Country Managers, Marketplace, Buying & Merchandising, Media, Analytics, Digital Activations, Digital Operations, SCM, EM Hub, and Cluster teams.
