DC / Distribution Lead (Training) ~ Day (S) Shift, Mon - Fri 7:00am - 3:30pm
operating procedures (SOPs) and by implementing and serving as an example of safe work
practices.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct training on all operations process paths for team members as necessary
Work with manager to implement and enforce all OSHA standards, as well as,
warehouse rules/regulations especially those related to powered industrial trucks (PIT)
Train and certify all personnel on the safe operation of equipment, including PIT
Partner with on-the-floor trainers to maintain the consistency and spirit of process
training
Conduct train-the-trainer sessions and remediation training as needed
Facilitate courses and/or learning sessions for all associates and leadership as needed
Administrative tasks as needed: printing and organizing learning materials, tracking
training sign-offs, etc
Conduct observation sessions and report results
Maintain visibility on the operations floor to maintain process knowledge and identify
gaps in skills, training approach, etc
Instruct, examine and issue certifications
Support the creation and implementation of SOPs and One Point Lessons
Ability to develop and share best practices
Perform other duties as assigned

Fluent in English, both oral and written. Proficiency in Spanish or other languages is a
plus
Ability to work and reliably attend flexible schedules/shifts as needed to support a 21
hour/day – 7 day/week operation
Demonstrated knowledge of handling heavy-duty PIT vehicles and strong safety
awareness
Proven facilitation and presentation skills
Ability to work collaboratively within a large group of co-workers
Positive and enthusiastic approach
Ability to work in a fast-paced distribution environment while maintaining an eye for
detail and accuracy
Self-motivated to prioritize, coordinate and complete projects within tight deadlines
Proficiency with MS Office (including Excel, Outlook, Word and PowerPoint) and
Warehouse Management Systems
Regularly required to talk or hear; stand or walk; use fingers, hands and arms to feel,
handle, grip, grasp, lift, push and pull for up to ten (10) hours/day
Ability to work in a warehouse environment
Occasionally required to sit; bending, twisting, climb or balance; lift and carry items
such as boxes weighing up to forty (40) pounds; and stoop, kneel, crouch, and crawl
High school diploma or equivalent
Minimum of two (2) years related distribution experience and/or training
One (1) plus year experience operating and training on the safe operation of forklifts,
order pickers, reach-fork trucks, walkies/pallet jacks and scissor lifts
Ability to work overtime and weekends as required
