Senior Forklift Operator- IC
Purpose: Safely operate any assigned powered industrial trucks (PIT) such as forklifts, stand up order picker/ cherry picker as well as other powered equipment for the daily task of RF cycle counting all zones in the distribution/operations warehouse and move product around the distribution center. Accurately process orders in and out of the distribution center.
Key Responsibilities:
- Cycle count all zones in the distribution/operations warehouse with an RF gun.
- Utilizing powered equipment, pick and put away product efficiently and accurately.
- Work in hot and cold warehouse environment.
- Utilize computerized warehouse management systems (1WMS) and radio frequency (RF) scanners to process all barcoded products.
- Identify and communicate exceptions to the leadership team.
- Follow all standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Accurately record production by task and complete any necessary paperwork.
- Flexibility to train and work in multiple areas.
- Work safely and maintain a clean work environment.
- Understand and apply health and safety guidelines/procedures
- Identify, report, and follow up on any property damage or safety concerns
- Participate in Lean Six Sigma activities
- Other duties as assigned

Knowledge Skills and Abilities:
- Ability to attain an adidas certification to safely operate any assigned powered equipment, including but not limited to: order picker, turret truck, reach truck, powered pallet jack and sit-down forklift.
- Basic math skills.
- Required to speak, read, write and comprehend the English language
Essential Functions:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is:
- regularly required to talk or hear; sit, stand or walk; use fingers, hands, arms and feet to feel, handle, grip, grasp, lift, operate, push and pull for up twelve (12) hours/day
- able to work safely at high levels, upwards of thirty-five (35) feet
- able to work in a warehouse environment with varying temperatures
- able to reliably attend work/scheduled hours
- required to safely operate power industrial equipment as noted above
- occasionally required to sit; bending, twisting, climb or balance; lift and carry items such as boxes weighing up to fifty (50) pounds; and stoop, kneel, crouch, and crawl
Requisite Education and Experience / Minimum Qualifications:
- High School diploma or GED equivalent required
- Minimum of six (6) months previous experience operating forklifts
- Ability to work overtime and weekends as required
