What you’ll do:
As our Assistant Go to Market (Category) Manager at adidas Nordics, you’ll support our Go-To-Market team to help drive category specific business & brand success through the development & execution of a robust go-to-market plan, with a consumer centric lens aligned to our Nordic targets.
If you’re passionate about adding value and building strong relationships – acting as key contact for all topics within the assigned category, this could be the adidas product role for you. You’ll work closely with both European and local sales & brand teams to secure fully aligned range plans where local needs are fulfilled.
We’re looking for our Assistant Go to Market (Category) Manager to be naturally motivated and come with a growth mindset who has recent commercial experience within product marketing or sales. We need someone consumer focused, with an interest in both brand and commercial. You’ll support the Nordic category plan and identify and drive opportunities & needs together with the wider team.
Finally, you’re an strong communicator who enjoys presenting on stage and interacting with customers during sell-in with customers. This role reports into the Nordic Director Go to Market.
We’re looking for:
- Functional marketing and/or sales knowledge with strong passion for sports – this is important as you’ll be surrounded by sports topics 24/7 in work.
- Consumer-focused with essential product and range understanding.
- 1-3 years of Merchandising/ Category management Experience, cross-functional marketing and/or sales experience.
- University degree in business, ideally with marketing and sales focus or equivalent professional experience.
- Fluent in English (writing and verbal).
- IT skills: Outlook and Word: Basic; Excel and PowerPoint: advanced.
Considerations:
- Location/Travel: you will work in our Solna office for 3 days a week, although flexibility & willingness to travel across EU on a monthly level is required.
Life at adidas:
We operate a flexible hybrid model with 3 days in the office (2 fixed days for full collaboration with our colleagues) and the flexibility for you to choose where you work from home on the other 2 days. We also have an optional “Sports Hour” every Thursday @ 11-12, a sports club for you to choose your preferred activity, and an annual fitness allowance.
