What you’ll do:
As our Senior Go to Market (Category) Manager at adidas Nordics, you will drive and ensure category business & brand success through the development & execution of an optimal go-to-market plan with a consumer centric lens and aligned to the Nordic targets.
We’re looking for people with a Product background to be considered for this role; as you’ll be extremely hands-on with our product assortment, delivering commercial input to serve our consumer and customer needs. You’ll own the Nordic category plan and will identify and drive opportunities & needs relying on market analytics with a marketplace mindset.
We need a solid relationship builder, as you’ll act as key contact for all topics within the assigned category and will work closely with European and local sales & brand teams to secure fully aligned GTM plans where local needs are fulfilled.
We believe you are a excellent communicator who enjoys presenting and interacting with big groups as you will play a key role in the full GTM process- from concept input to sales launches and seasonal sell-ins with customers. This role reports into the Nordic Director Go to Market.
We’re looking for:
- Preferably Sporting Goods and/or fashion industry background. Passion for sports is a must.
- Consumer-focused with deep product and range understanding with a strong understanding of balancing brand and commercial aspects to build channel specific GTM solutions
- 5+ years of Merchandising/ Category management Experience, cross-functional marketing and/or sales experience.
- University degree in business, ideally with marketing and sales focus or equivalent professional experience.
- IT skills: Outlook and Word: Basic; Excel and PowerPoint: advanced.
- Fluent in English - written & verbal
Considerations:
- Location/Travel: you will work in our Solna office for 3 days a week, although flexibility & willingness to travel across EU on a monthly level is required.
Life at adidas:
We operate a flexible hybrid model with 3 days in the office (2 fixed days for full collaboration with our colleagues) and the flexibility for you to choose where you work from home on the other 2 days. We also have an optional “Sports Hour” every Thursday @ 11-12, a sports club for you to choose your preferred activity, and an annual fitness allowance.
