About the Role

As Assistant Store Manager, you'll play a key role in supporting the day-to-day operation of the store, driving team performance, and ensuring operational excellence. You'll lead, coach, and develop your team while supporting the delivery of commercial objectives and creating unforgettable consumer experiences.

When the Store Manager is away, you'll confidently take ownership of the store, ensuring the team remains focused, motivated, and performing at their best.

Key Responsibilities

Leadership & Team Development

• Lead, coach, and inspire your team to deliver exceptional service and achieve store KPIs
• Support recruitment, onboarding, training, and development of store team members
• Provide ongoing coaching and feedback to maximise engagement and performance
• Collaborate with the wider leadership team and share best practices across the store

Commercial Performance

• Drive sales, productivity, and profitability across your area of responsibility
• Support the execution of business priorities and commercial objectives
• Analyse retail KPIs, sales trends, and performance data to support decision-making
• Identify opportunities to enhance the consumer experience and drive business results

Store Operations

• Coordinate daily operations, resources, and team activities to maximise efficiency
• Ensure outstanding visual merchandising and brand presentation standards
• Maintain excellent stock management, replenishment, and product availability
• Ensure all health, safety, security, and company compliance standards are met
• Take ownership of store operations in the absence of the Store Manager

What We're Looking For

Skills & Experience

• Previous experience in a retail leadership, supervisory, or management role
• Strong understanding of retail operations and commercial performance drivers
• Experience leading and developing high-performing teams
• Confidence in making decisions and managing priorities in a dynamic retail environment
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
