You’ll be joining our Stockport Head office, home to 18 showrooms, our Conference Centre, staff Wellness Hub, a truly state-of-the-art gym - fully loaded with Peloton bikes & every piece of gym equipment you can imagine. An indoor astroturf pitch, chat boxes & creative corners creative spaces. Our Stockport team consists of over 350 adidas employees, working across, Brand, Sports Marketing, Marketing Activations, Visual Merchandising, Sales, Account Operations, Finance, HR & many more.
Are you ready to step into a role where your technical Facilities Management expertise and passion for sustainability can truly make an impact? We’re looking for a proactive, detail-driven Assistant Facilities Manager to support the Facilities Manager in delivering first-class services across our UK estate.
What you’ll do:
In this varied and hands-on role, you will:
- Support the day-to-day management of Facility Management services across a portfolio of busy retail stores, our Stockport Head Office and Trafford Park Distribution Centre
- Act as a key contact for store teams, ensuring maintenance, cleaning and waste management service delivery run smoothly and within budget
- Lead on sustainability initiatives to reduce our carbon footprint with a sound working knowledge of ISO accreditations
- Support with managing our company car fleet, ensuring it operates efficiently, safely, and sustainably
- Work closely with and manage supply partners to deliver high-quality, cost-effective services
- Assist with asset management, planned maintenance scheduling, and Health & Safety compliance across all sites
- Contribute ideas and solutions to continuously improve our Facility Management operations.
Skills you’ll need:
- Planning & organisation
- Budget and cost control experience
- Excellent Interpersonal relationship building
- Solid hard and soft service Facility Management knowledge and experience, including contractor management: ideally from retail or multi-site environments
- Demonstrable knowledge and experience in sustainability, energy efficiency and environmental management initiatives including ISO accreditations
- A confident, friendly and professional communicator who enjoys working with people at all levels
- Highly organised, responsive, and able to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- A problem-solver with a can-do attitude and strong attention to detail
- Full UK driving licence (essential)
