You’ll be joining our Stockport Head office, home to 18 showrooms, our Conference Centre, staff Wellness Hub, a truly state-of-the-art gym - fully loaded with Peloton bikes & every piece of gym equipment you can imagine. An indoor astroturf pitch, chat boxes & creative corners creative spaces. Our Stockport team consists of over 350 adidas employees, working across, Brand, Sports Marketing, Marketing Activations, Visual Merchandising, Sales, Account Operations, Finance, HR & many more.
What you’ll do:
Join us as a GTM Director and lead the go-to-market strategy for Sportswear & Training across the North zone. We’re looking for a strategic, commercially-minded leader who thrives at the intersection of brand, consumer, and business needs.
What You’ll Do:
- Shape the Marketplace Strategy: Drive category success by developing and executing locally relevant GTM plans aligned with European strategy, ensuring full integration of consumer insights and market dynamics.
- Lead Category Execution: Own the end-to-end GTM process—from product planning to sales launch—partnering closely with Sales, Brand Activation, and Global teams to deliver seasonal plans and sales tools.
- Drive Performance and Growth: Influence distribution and segmentation strategies, manage forecasting and volume planning, and use analytics to identify growth opportunities and guide decision-making.
- Inspire and Develop Teams: Lead a high-performing team, fostering a culture of excellence, collaboration, and continuous development.
Skills you’ll need:
1. A strategic, consumer-focused leader with 8+ years in category management, merchandising, or marketing within sports or fashion.
2. Proven leadership experience (4+ years) with the ability to influence across cross-functional teams.
3. Strong analytical, communication, and presentation skills.
4. Passionate about sport and the culture that fuels it.
5. Willingness to travel across Europe and work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
