Retail Space Management & Consumer Experience
To ensure wholesale branded space projects (Shop in Shop) are brought to life at strategically identified Key Retail Partner according to Global best practice standards for realizing permanent brand visibility in a consistent and premium way to drive (Product Sell-through) sell-through.
Regular travel across UK and some travel in Europe required for this role.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
FUNCTIONAL
▪ Ownership of the Europe / UK / IRE end to end development & roll-out of wholesale fixtures and fittings (Shop in Shop) for Key Retail Partner(s): executing these projects and being responsible for monitoring and delivering against project timelines and KPI’s_._ _
▪ Implementation of Shop in Shop projects and follow-up post installations.
▪ Ensure that relevant project budgets are planned, forecasted, and managed.
▪ Report findings and recommendations with regards to branded spaces (shop in shop) to decision-makers and follow-up usage. Identify new ways of working within the team and have the confidence to make suggestions for improvements to the current process.
▪ Contribute to conceptual planning and share ideas to support the effectiveness of the wider team.
▪ Digital mindset – _To ensure we bring the best Digital Consumer Experience to the market & work closely with relevant parties to ensure the Digital integration within the branded space (shop in shop) is the best in class.
▪ Work collaboratively and build cross-functional relationships between Key Retail Partner, internal account stakeholders: Sales, CTC (product merchandising, brand activation) and Finance to ensure that branded spaces (shop in shop) are provided to fit the product buy in all identified doors.
▪ Create project briefs and collaborate with Wholesale Design & Development, Global Engineering, Non-Trade Procurement for as long as their participation is required in the project. Ensuring smooth interaction with all involved Omni-channel Marketing functions.
▪ Align with Visual Merchandising and Store Training to identify branded space (shop in shop) plans so that they can plan their services against these.
▪ Key Retail Partner Account Teams: work collaboratively on branded space (shop in shop) executions and build relationships with key members of the Senior Management team across Retail, Property and Merchandising.
▪ Manage relationships with third parties e.g., design/project management agencies, shop suppliers, delivery- and installation teams, digital tool suppliers, construction companies – _tendering, day-to-day communication, payments, etc.
CONTROLLING
▪ Plan and monitor budget for development and maintenance of new RSM branded spaces (Shop in Shop) in alignment with senior manager RSM.
▪ Leverage functional expertise to support coordination of budget investment levels with regards to future RSM-projects.
KEY RELATIONSHIPS
▪ Team: Directly or indirectly might manage an assistant manager/junior staff member
▪ Global: Wholesale Design & Development, Global Engineering, NTP
▪ Markets: Key Retail Partners, CTC, BAM, Finance
▪ External: Key Retail Partners, suppliers, contractors
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
▪ 2-4 years international functional experience within Retail, Store Development, Operations and/or Project Management. Visual Merchandising experience ideal but not essential.
▪ A team-player with strong interpersonal and cross-cultural skills (e.g., communication, negotiation, building relationships).
▪ A very good organizer, strong in follow-up.
▪ Functional skills in MS-office, with strong excel working knowledge
▪ Good degree of commercial and business acumen knowledge.
▪ Extensive knowledge re the adidas Group business along with significant project experience.
▪ Experience in both market- and above market organization is an added benefit.
▪ Mental flexibility, initiative, determination, adaptability, openness to change, conflict management.
▪ Increase leadership skills by identifying opportunities to develop and role model the right behaviours.
▪ Fluency in written and spoken English is essential. Other languages are beneficial.
▪ Driving license.
