Manchester:
You’ll be joining our Stockport Head office, home to 18 showrooms, our Conference Centre, staff Wellness Hub, a truly state-of-the-art gym - fully loaded with Peloton bikes & every piece of gym equipment you can imagine. An indoor astroturf pitch, chat boxes & creative corners creative spaces. Our Stockport team consists of over 350 adidas employees, working across, Brand, Sports Marketing, Marketing Activations, Visual Merchandising, Sales, Account Operations, Finance, HR & many more.
What you’ll do:
In this hybrid role as Senior Key Account Manager & Category Manager at adidas, you’ll manage the GTM process and product assortment for the Accessories category within one global alliance key account.
You will become the expert in your category. You will need to define, create and execute the product vision ensuring overall net sales & market share are met by executing against all GTM milestone processes: input, ideal range planning, feedback, through to impactful presentations to the account.
Special focus in this role lies on the briefing, execution and delivery of SMUs. Key requirements and deliverables are: in depth market and consumer knowledge, pricing architecture reviews, scenario analysis for recommendations, strict calendar management + forecasting.
You will also be lead Sales Account Manager develop a deep understanding of the account & ensuring great relationships with your key Buying & Merchandising contacts. Other key sales responsibilities; to build, execute & influence on your strategic plan. Reviewing sell through and taking actions to drive the business. Conducting best in class sell-ins ensuring share & net sales targets are met. Effective order-book management, ensuring conversion in line with our Trade investment.
You will also collaborate closely with other department which include Marketing, to drive the plan for your focus category. DPC, to ensure we show up as best in class online. As well as building strong relationships with departments including Account Operations, Finance, Order Fulfilment amongst others.
Skills you’ll need:

Experience and knowledge in the style consumer/competitor market and a clear understanding of the range creation and APP/ACC product functionality

Strong organizational skills and attention to detail; analysis and problem solving skills incl commercial acumen

Demonstrate the key sales skills: negotiation, conflict handling, communication & relationship building
