Warehouse Operative
Purpose & Overall Relevance for the Organization:
To receive, store, retrieve, pick, pack, Vas, load, dispatch & return stock.
Key Responsibilities:
- Receiving stock and updating stock records
- Storing stock in the Warehouse
- Replenishing picking locations
- Item picking and packing
- Applying labels
- Load collation
- Dispatch
- Order palletisation
- Stock checks
- returning stock
- Query notification and resolution
- Understand and adhere to departmental SOP’s
- Understand and respect 6s principles

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- WCS, WMS, Samples & GOK Warehouse systems knowledge advantageous
- Usage of Labour Management system advantageous
- Operating Fork Lift Trucks (minimal).
- Operating Powered Pedestrian Trucks
- Operating Radio Frequency Terminals
- Product codes
- Customer requirements as specified either on screen or paper records
- Physical dexterity – move cartons and items
- Warehouse layout including location sequences
Requisite Education and Experience / Minimum Qualifications:
- Good level of English language, written and spoken
- Good levels of numeracy and literacy
- Physical dexterity
Previous warehouse experience preferred
