Supervisor, Digital Activation, CRM

Purpose & Overall Relevance for the Organization:

Responsible for the day-to-day, hands-on execution of email marketing campaigns within the CRM team. Closely work with the CRM Manager on improving the newsletter operational process, working and managing 3rd party tools, and improving overall engagement and revenue from the email marketing channel.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the CRM Manager in the total end-to-end process of email/DM/CRM campaign creation
  • Provide input, assistance and ownership in certain areas in the creation of newsletter campaigns for adidas and Reebok brand which specifically includes: Implement tags according to master tag and execute flawless QA; Coordinate the weekly CRM and email calendar updates with Marketing Activation team and Retail Activation team; Analyze and report on campaign performance
  • Working closely with the CRM Manager and other stakeholders to improve the end-to-end process including looking at new process improvements, and helping deliver and implement new tools within Japan CRM
  • Other tasks include: Refine the newsletter segmentation; Review the campaign dashboard for proofing and approval; Initiate ideas and tests to implement 3rd party tools in newsletter campaigns
  • Operational: Work to achieve objectives and results with short-term operational focus; Contribute indirectly to achievements of results based on specifically defined operational targets
  • Use standard approaches with limited judgement calls

  • eCom Net Sales, DCC
  • eCom digital & mail KPIs (traffic, CVR, Open Rate, CTR)
  • NPS (Brand)

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Entrepreneurial mindset – Results & Profit oriented
  • Passionate about CRM with strong English communications skills in writing and speaking
  • Strategic, consensus-building, and results-driven
  • Familiar with analytic tools such as Google analytics, MicroStrategy, and QlikView
  • Having a knowledge of campaign management system would be good but not required
  • Proactive, energetic personality; Attention to details; Ability to learn quickly; Multitasking capability
  • Identify and correct problems in existing processes/systems with generally defined scope and complexity

 

Requisite Education and Experience / Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 1-3 years of working experience in CRM and Digital Marketing (Agency or Client)
  • Strong MS Office skills, especially in Excel
  • Fluent in Japanese, Proficient writing and speaking English skill is a plus
