Manager, MHE

Purpose & Overall Relevance for the Organization

This position will work together with VDL on-site maintenance team and other equipment vendors to solve technical problems timely and ensure all equipment in good conditions and support warehouse operations to meet or exceed customers’ expectation.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Continuously evaluate and explore opportunities to improve utilization of MHE and productivity
  • Ensure the implementation of prevent maintenance plan and corrective plan within schedule and with good quality
  • Responsible for spare parts management and availability when it is needed without any excuses
  • Keep smooth and frequent communication with Ops and fully support daily Ops and match their requirements
  • To drive and renew all MHE related performance targets with reflecting Ops requirements
  • To work out MHE HSE rules and policy for all staffs so as to ensure all staffs familiar with the rules/policies during daily operation
  • Smartly to manage VDL and other equipment vendors, monitor the execution of service contract to ensure the achievement of agreed service level & KPI
  • Responsible for MHE related budget control and actual forecast

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • University degree and above
  • Rich experience of managing automated production equipment and forklifts in the past 5-10 years. Manufacturing, logistics and warehouse background are preferred
  • Working experience in multi-national company in the past 5-10 years is a must
  • Manager level working position in the past 5 years is preferred
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Good English reading, speaking and writing competence
  • Stable personality, clear career plan and spirit developing with project together
