Manager, Return ECOM DC
Purpose & Overall Relevance for the Organization:
Support Senior Manager, Inbound ECOM DC to lead DC inbound and return team to manage inbound receiving, inspection operations, as well as returns handling so as to meet service level at competitive productivity and cost.
He/she will achieve this mission by:
- Support Senior Manager, Inbound ECOM DC to manage inbound and return operations to achieve DC KPIs.
- Establishing and managing SOP
- Working with cross functional departments to meet business targets
- Enhancing productivity and cost effectiveness by making continuous improvement
- Support line manager organizes EC big promotion tasks as:
- Organize EC promotion preparations, including volume forecasting with business teams for each DC to support resource planning.
- Partner with business teams to improve forecast accuracy and stabilize DC operations.
- Deliver EC promotion order fulfilment performance reports covering all DCs.
- Wrap up and analysis EC promotion data to ensure continuous improvement activities planned/taken.
Key Responsibilities:
Planning (for both inbound receiving, and returns)
- Understand volume of upcoming inbound receiving to catch launch/posting. Work with BP&O, EC business team, OR and DC Planning, TR team, to get rolling forecast of B2B and B2C returns.
- Prioritize work, set up working groups, to ensure that all daily activities completed within the agreed timeline.
- Support Senior Manager, Inbound ECOM DC, managing the resource planning especially labor during B2C peak period.
Management
- Manage day-to-day activities in DC IB team, to meet daily target
- Maintains productivity, especially for B2C returns, support senior manager set reasonable target to drive efficiency.
- People motivation. Manager adidas permanent team and 3PL labor team for safety, efficiency, etc.
- Advise DC senior manager on any inbound and return risk and issues.
- Responsible for operations of new launch receiving related process enhancement, continuously improve equipment and labors utilization to meet related KPIs to avoid/reduce business impact;
- Support senior manager for set proper operations of A, A-, B, D grading definition to keep inventory healthy with high level and continuously drive consumer satisfaction.
- Deep dive C check principle with business team, with benchmark in the market, support senior manger and DC management team align C check standard and better contribute to cost control.
- Ensure disciplined execution of team members to comply with HSE standards
Training and Development
- Explain & demonstrate working tasks to new workers or assign experienced workers for on-the-job training
- Train employees and make sure they understand their responsibilities and follows warehouse procedures
- Assist in developing & training associates on warehouse safety procedures
HR Management
- Mange turnover rate of workers, make more stability to avoid negative effects
- Develop mutual back-ups; grow talents with coaching and more exposure
Financial
- Control cost & piece price
- Understand budget by item in tracking the actual spending vs. budget

- All DC functional team, planning, inventory control, outbound, slotting, equipment, transportation, HR and QC team
- SCM PO, logistic inbound team, OBF
- EC business team.
- Own retail operations, Assortment planning
- Global operations, CSD supporting team, CC sourcing team BSL_3PL_support, XI_support,

External
- LO/Factories, 3PL, software developer vendor
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Knowledge / Experience
- Knowledge of WMS
- Understanding of key interfaces between business systems and WMS
- Capable of interacting with internal and external stakeholders
- Good communication and people skills
- Can communicate in English & Mandarin
Requisite Education and Experience / Minimum Qualifications:
- University degree or above.
- 5+ years of working experience in logistics, with 3+ year at a managerial position, and at least 2 years minimum in a multinational company.
