Senior Specialist, Wholesale Planner
Purpose & Overall Relevance for the Organisation:
Drive the financial success of adidas by leading wholesale account planning for the Rebel partnership and key categories. This role owns the sell-in and sell-out planning cycle, retail sales forecasting, franchise performance and orderbook optimisation, transforming data into actionable insights that fuel growth. The position ensures close alignment between adidas and Rebel through joint business planning, transparent forecasting, and clear performance measurement against commercial KPIs.
Key Responsibilities:

Own the wholesale planning and forecasting agenda for the Rebel account and key categories

Lead the sell-in and sell-out planning cycle, connecting customer buys to in-season trading performance

Drive joint business planning, QBRs and GTM alignment with the customer

Turn sell-out, margin and inventory data into clear commercial actions and growth opportunities

Lead customer buy reviews and franchise-level planning

Own and optimise the customer orderbook, driving sell-through, stock efficiency and in-season performance

Partner closely with Sales, Finance and Supply Chain to deliver profitable, sustainable growth

Contribute to the evolution of wholesale planning tools, standards and ways of working
KPI’s:

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

Advanced Excel and analytical skills with ability to simplify complex data into clear commercial insights

Strong understanding of wholesale planning, retail math, and sell-in / sell-out dynamics

Experience identifying consumer, retail and competitor trends to inform customer and franchise planning

Confident communicator with ability to influence decision-making across both internal teams and customer stakeholders

Skilled at integrating data from multiple sources to deliver demand-driven, customer-focused forecasts and analysis

Strong stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration skills
Requisite Education & Experience / Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or related field preferred (or equivalent experience)

Minimum 5 years’ experience in wholesale planning, account planning, merchandise planning, or brand/vendor-side planning within a multi-store retail environment

Experience in sporting goods, apparel, footwear, or other branded, fast-paced consumer retail or wholesale environments strongly preferred
