Manager Retail Excellence
PURPOSE & OVERALL RELEVANCE FOR THE ORGANISATION:
- Play a critical role of retail standards to drive implementation, efficiency and compliance with the partnership of Retail Operations team.
- Manage Retail Excellence projects i.e. Consumer Experience, Retail Activation/ Incentive Programs and the other Market initiatives to make communication & execution simpler & consistent for all retail stores.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Planning
- Set up retail stores overall incentive & recognition scheme with cross-functional teams.
- Develop store promotion plans and work closely with cross-functional teams to drive the execution of retail activation initiatives
- Obsessed with the knowledge of operational excellence, mainly focus on the procedure and related projects to make the stores with higher standard and consistency.
- Analyze, optimize and develop process flows, SOPs and operations tools of every store check points
- Work with cross-functional teams in developing projects leading to make Business achieved every objective
- Continuously enhance the implementation and optimization of ‘House of Retail’ over all stores
Systems and Processes
- Oversee the regular release and update of Global Store Operations Manuals and Policies
- Constantly review all process and Procedures to reduce complexity and improve productivity
Project Management
- Improve efficiency of Retail Operation
- Digital & Consumer Experience roll-out: Mobile retail solution tools and etc.
- Support on any ad-hoc requests as assigned
Sales Reporting & Analysis
- Conduct sales analysis, store productivity review and retail sales achievement analysis in a timely and accurate manner
- Identify key issues on business performance and draws conclusions by analyzing and comparing data; including but no limited to the competitor intellgence
- Analyse sales trends & performance in the market quantitatively & qualitatively
- Present findings in professional manner and provide various reports with high accuracy & quality
KPI’s:
- Shared Retail Team KPI’s include Topline and Bottom line of Own Retail business
- Individual performance KPI’s to be defined
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
- Multiple stores retail operation management experience is preferred
- Outstanding communication skills, comfortable presenting complex topics to stakeholders at various organizational levels both in person and remotely
REQUISITE EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE / MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- Minimum 7 years’ experience in marketing/retail department of a global consumer goods company
- Minimum 7 years of experience with at least 5 years in Retail Operations
- Bachelor’s degree required and advanced degree in business or related fields preferred
- Fluent in Mandarin and English
