Manager Partner Development, Digital Wholesale

Purpose & Overall Relevance for the Organization:

  • Be responsible for developing and scaling innovative solutions to improve adidas online business performance with account partners
  • Build a mechanism to improve the business process for Japan WHS team to operate regular work effectively and efficiently
  • Drive the implementation of innovative solutions, developed by Global Digital Wholesale
  • Be the key point of contact in Japan WHS team and lead various projects to build an effective process while interacting with internal/external stakeholders across the globe
  • Leading the digital agenda across the market organization together with Market and Cluster Digital stakeholders to increase digital knowledge and experience
  • Communicate with internal various teams such as marketing, business planning, adidas eCOM team to drive online adidas credibility

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive digital transformation by researching various effective business tools to best-fit to team operations and adopting these to improve a process by removing manual tasks such as Excel work for all employees in Japan WHS, and work together with IT team to build enterprise system (e.g SAP)
  • Implementation of a new analytics model including Japan-specific ones, which is related to sell-in/sell-out, market trend, consumer journey and search word trend leveraging various tools such as  Power BI and Google Analytics)
  • Be a point of contact for Japan WHS team and global Digital WHS  team and a diverse set of internal stakeholders in Japan to build a mechanism to adopt new digital tools smoothly to Japanese business partners (e.g automation tool implementation to download digital contents such as images, size-chart, and consumer review from adidas)
  • Give tools implementation guidance cross-functionally and continue to monitor progress and results to remove potential roadblocks while working with a line manager
  • Assist the line manager in leading education and upskilling on relevant digital tools and initiatives across Global Digital Wholesale organization & account teams (Pure Players & Omni accounts)
  • Update and feedback on tools and automation to appropriate stakeholders ensuring continuous improvement
  • Input into new initiatives across the organization - DBC & DA (e.g. Memberships, etc.)

  • Global and Digital Wholesale teams in each country cluster
  • Brand communication and activation team

 

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Project management skills related to digital and/or eCommerce, ideally including system Integration
  • Basic to advanced Microsoft Office skills and Google Analytics
  • Advanced Power BI and SQL skills, and proficiency in spreadsheet analysis. Self-motivated and passionate about deriving business insight from data, improving business processes, and solving problems. 
  • Excellent PowerPoint skills coupled with excellent communication and presentation skills
  • High knowledge of digital tools to improve operational processes (e.g. familiarity with various AI tools)
  • Deep understanding of online retail business (e.g. Sales, Website building, Web marketing, eCommerce Systems)
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills (interest in technical and business eCommerce projects a must).
  • Quick to learn new systems and tools and programming (e.g Python, RPA)
  • Proven ability to drive alignment among multiple stakeholders in an international environment
  • Experience in breaking down complex, ambiguous challenges into structured solutions
  • Business level English for writing and speaking *Fluency in English is required

 

Requisite Education and Experience / Minimum Qualifications:

  • Business-level English
  • Minimum 5 years of professional experience in project management in digital area and improvement of business processes through the implementation of new digital tools
  • Minimum 3 years of professional experience in Online Sales/Marketing
  • MBA is preferred
