Manager Range Management & Master Data, Brand adidas

Purpose & Overall Relevance for the Organization:

​​​​​​​- Manage end to end seasonal Master Data process to achieve accurate and effective order intake.

- Manage ranging & forecasting systems, and ensure a smooth transition between the legacy system (RMA) to the new one (M-3).

- Manage the range process through Range architecture role to review and validate range size, profitability, pricing and all merchandizing related KPIs.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Master Data Management
  • Lead the range & forecast process to ensure on time data delivery.
  • Lead the data cleansing for accurate information.
  • Provide data support & training for users.
  • Ensure smooth master transfer across systems.

 

  1. System Management
  • Manage the ranging & forecasting system as the administrator, ensure proper functioning, and solve possible issues.
  • Drive the transition from the legacy system (RMA) to the new one (M-3), by driving the processes of market feedback, user testing and training.
  • Work with Global & IT counterparts to continuously drive the improvement of the system.

 

  1. Range Management
  • Create Range Architecture guidance for BU’s to plan seasonal range size properly.
  • Analyze the price & cost plan, share insights and facilitate the alignment process.
  • Lead other cross-category ranging processes including but not limited to exclusive & membership SKU planning, local size & edge size planning, etc.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Approx. 4-6 years in sporting goods or related industry
  • Accurate and efficient data management skill
  • Product master data knowledge

 

Requisite Education / Qualifications:

  • University Degree (BS, BA, or equivalent)
  • Advanced PC Skill (MS Excel / PowerPoint / Power BI)
  • Communication / Negotiation
  • Leadership
  • Fluent both in Japanese and English
  • Ownership, “pick up the ball” mind set.
  • Teamplay, deliver my responsibility to win together.
