Senior Manager Talent Partnering, Human Resources
Purpose & Overall Relevance for the Organization:
Drive leadership, talent and organizational development, succession and performance management implement all leadership and talent development programs, and support business transformation talent needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the Japan HR Head to implement, or build where required, talent and leadership development strategy / concepts aligned to the needs of the market and/or business transformation talent needs.
- Act as Market SPOC for Global talent team in regard to all Talent related topics
- Partner closely with HRBPs to support consistent execution excellence of all talent programs in all locations. Upskill HR teams and business teams on core talent programs and initiatives.
- Co-facilitate workshops and meetings with HR Partners where it aligns with the Talent Partner role (e.g. succession & talent initiatives, business transformation).
- Conduct data analysis and identify the talent and organizational development needs.
- Build development programs in collaboration with HRBPs for the respective area, lead the full scope and ensure effective communication with participants to ensure they are fully invested and receive maximum returns.
- Create content and material for upskilling sessions and follow ups to support an effective learning transfer.
- Lead key talent projects to support business talent needs, as well as local learning offerings for Japan employees

Knowledge Skills and Abilities:
- Management consulting and business transformation experiences.
- Ability to think strategically to partner with HR and leadership teams.
- Cross-functional experience in Talent areas (Talent Management, Leadership & Learning, Organizational Design and Development).
- Commercial awareness, customer focus, understanding of HR and business strategy and processes.
- Facilitation and partnering skills; with ability to analyze data and provide effective solutions, basic program design skills, with good executional skills and follow through.
- A good team player and self-starter.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, including ability to present and sell concepts to senior stakeholders.
- Ability to build trustful relationships with key stakeholders and HR partners, and manage conflicts.
- Proven project management skills with an agile mindset.
Requisite Education and Experience / Minimum Qualifications:
- University degree or post graduate degree preferably with a focus in Talent Management, HRM, Business/Commerce/MBA.
- Minimum 7-8 years progressive work experience in the field of HR (preferably in an international organization, ideally with Talent Management / Development experience).
- Language: both Japanese and English.
