Vendor Compliance Specialist


  • To monitor processes and provide guidance on inbound product to ensure compliance with adidas Group Vendor Compliance Guidelines for all brands. To ensure that product received is compliant with the Warehouse standards so that product can flow through warehouse processes with no issues.   To ensure that product shipped from the Distribution Center meets or exceeds the compliance guidelines and quality expectations of our customers.  To ensure that SHAS (special handling at source) has been correctly performed for all Dedicated orders to avoid chargebacks.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Recording and reporting of any issues regarding labelling, packaging or quality
  • Inbound Compliance Guidelines – know, understand, interpret  and apply knowledge to inbound receipts
  • Train Inbound Inspectors as needed, provide guidance to TFE associates and serve as arbiter of adidas-Group  Vendor Compliance standards
  • Analyze, communicate and recommend solutions for issues that arise during inbound audits.
  • Observe and report  incorrect processes/problems  in Receiving
  • Review and record inspection results from designated forms in Excel format.  Notify Compliance Supervisor of any inspection that does not meet audit standards.
  • Communicate effectively (verbal and written) with various departments regarding issues on inbound receipts.
  • Provide support in other areas as needed within the department

  • Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. 
  • Ability to write simple correspondence. 
  • Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to other employees of the organization.
  • Good organizational skills with attention to detail
  • Camera – ability to take clear pictures, save  and e-mail pictures
  • Microsoft Office – Outlook, Word, Excel, Access
  • SAP,  Manhattan, adicomp Systems – experience in or the ability to learn multiple systems


Requisite Education and Experience / Minimum Qualifications:

  1. High school diploma or general education degree (GED); related experience in a footwear/apparel manufacturing or distribution facility.
