Senior Manager Digital WHS Analytics & Trading

Purpose & Overall Relevance for the Organization:

 

  • Provide strategic leadership to the Digital Partner Commerce (DPC) team via a highly data-driven mindset in driving the development and adoption of Digital KPI tools, reports and workflows designed to accelerate the digital development of key accounts
  • Serve as the digital analytics expert within the team by owning the analytical infrastructure underpinning the process from insight to action to measurement.

Role & Responsibilities:

 

  • Own and drive underlying DPC data architecture (Databricks & PowerBI) and data visualization tools (Power BI)  and processes to lend insights into accounts’ online performance in the marketplace
  • Lead the team of analysts by providing clear direction, prioritization, and support to ensure team alignment and delivery of business‑critical outcomes
  • Analyzing product performance data across multiple markets and making recommendations to accounts, sales and internal stakeholders on how to drive performance
  • Building variable dependent forecasts based on product performance KPIs and inventory turnover
  • Working x-functionally with Sales, Marketing and Analytics teams to develop digital tool insight ideation, development and deployment of new tools to accelerate key account and marketplace initiatives
  • Understand key market trends and company objectives and develop insight workflows to develop opportunities at accounts
  • Represent senior analytical expertise in key internal and external forums (e.g., sell-ins, account reviews, Sales Director meetings, Sales and Marketing leadership meetings), influencing decision-making at a senior level.
  • Oversee and optimize data pipeline workflow and standardization processes ensuring for top-level data quality and automation
  • Assist the Director Digital WHS in optimizing category range and assortment planning performance for future seasons

  • Number [%share] of websites compliant in full with adidas eComm policy
  • Data and analysis requested by Digital Sales Managers covered in 100%
  • Implementation & support for DPC projects, processes & initiatives

 

 

 

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

 

 

  • Strong analytical capabilities with the ability to turn insights into actionable strategies
  • Advanced proficiency in Power BI, Databricks, Google Analytics and solid SQL skills, at least a basic understanding of Python
  • Experience with forecasting tools and data‑driven problem solving
  • Proactive “build - measure - learn” mindset with agile thinking
  • Strong commercial acumen and excellent communication skills, able to create narrative from data
  • Effective in virtual and cross‑functional team environments
  • Fluent English (written and spoken)

  • Ability to lead the team with clear expectations, coaching, and continuous feedback
  • Ability to drive team performance through effective goal setting, prioritization, and development planning

Requisite Education and Experience / Minimum Qualifications: 

 

  • University degree, preferably in Data Science, Statistics or Quantitative research
  • Functional: > 4 years analytical experience (experience in sales, marketing and / or consulting area)
  • Industry: e-commerce, on-line stores, consumer driven, ideally apparel/fashion/shoes or FMCG
  • Exposure: sports/fashion/consumer goods
  • Understanding of e-commerce and digital performance KPIs plus and fluency in Google Analytics (or alike tool) is a must
  • Proficiency in Advanced Excel, Power Point and Outlook is required
