DTCE Forklift (Cherry Picker) Operator
Potential Shifts and Pay Rates:
Day Shift: Pay rate: $21.50/hr
- Front Half Days, Sun-Tues: 5:30am-5:30pm (36 hours/week)
- Back Half Days, Wed-Sat: 6am to 4:30pm (40 hours/week)
Night Shift: Pay rate : $21.50/hr
- Front Half Nights, Sun-Wed, 6 pm to 4:30 am (40 hours/week) + $1.50 shift differential
- Back Half Nights, Thurs-Sat 5pm to 5am (36 hours/week) + $2.50 shift differential

Purpose
- Safely operate any assigned powered industrial trucks (PIT) such as forklifts, stand up order picker/ cherry picker as well as other powered equipment to move product around the distribution center. Accurately process orders in and out of the distribution center.
Key Responsibilities
- Utilize powered equipment, pick and put away product efficiently and accurately, as assigned by supervisor
- Utilize computerized warehouse management systems (WMS) and radio frequency (RF) scanners to process all barcoded products
- Identify and communicate exceptions to the leadership team
- Follow all standard operating procedures (SOPs)
- Accurately record production by task and complete any necessary paperwork
- Ability to work overtime as needed
- Flexibility to train and work in multiple areas
- Identify, report, and follow up on any property damage or safety concerns
- Work safely and maintain a clean work environment
- Participate in Lean Six Sigma activities
- Other duties as assigned

Knowledge Skills and Abilities
- Ability to attain an adidas certification to safely operate any assigned powered equipment, including but not limited to: order picker, turret truck, reach truck, powered pallet jack and sit-down forklift
- Basic math skills
Essential Physical Functions
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is:
- regularly required to talk or hear; sit, stand or walk; use fingers, hands, arms and feet to feel, handle, grip, grasp, lift, operate, push and pull for up to twelve (12) hours/day
- able to work safely at high levels, upwards of forty (40) feet
- able to work in a warehouse environment with varying temperatures
- able to reliably attend work/scheduled hours
- required to safely operate power industrial equipment as noted above
- occasionally required to sit; bending, twisting, climb or balance; lift and carry items such as boxes weighing up to fifty (50) pounds; and stoop, kneel, crouch, and crawl
Requisite Education and Experience / Minimum Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
- Required to speak, read, write, and comprehend the English language
- Ability to work overtime and weekends as required
- Previous experience (6 months) operating a forklift, Stand-up Order Picker/Cherry Picker
