Manager, Inventory Control

You will influence key supply chain processes, elevate standards, and strengthen systems that support operational excellence and business growth. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Build and optimize processes that maintain inventory accuracy, availability, and quality across the network.
- Lead and support teams across shifts to ensure strong performance, clear communication, and consistent standards.
- Use data and reporting tools to track performance, identify issues, and introduce improvements that enhance operations.
- Collaborate closely with cross‑functional partners to strengthen inventory flow, resolve challenges, and improve distribution center efficiency.
- Champion process improvements that enhance service levels and align with key operational goals.
KEY RELATIONSHIPS
You will partner with Distribution Directors, Operations leaders, Finance, FTZ/Customs, and Supply Chain teams to strengthen performance, reliability, and continuous improvement across the organization.
KNOWLEDGE SKILLS AND ABILITIES
- Expertise in end‑to‑end distribution and inventory control processes.
- Experience guiding teams across multiple functional areas within a complex operation.
- Strong analytical thinking and clear communication across all levels of the organization.
- Solid understanding of Warehouse Management Systems and supply chain technology.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast‑paced environment with evolving priorities.
REQUISITE EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE / MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience; advanced degree beneficial.
- At least five years of experience in a large‑scale distribution or supply chain environment.
- Proficiency in English.
- Relevant combination of education and experience will be considered.

At adidas we offer a Hybrid work policy which requires attendance in the office Monday through Thursday, with the flexibility to work remotely on Friday each week. For work requiring a high degree of collaboration or an in-person presentation, in-office attendance is required even on Friday. The working location of this position is Wilkes-Barre, PA.
