Marketing Manager - Golf
Purpose & Overall Relevance for the Organization:
We are seeking a dynamic NAM Brand Marketer to lead and execute strategic Canadian marketing initiatives that drive brand growth, strengthen partnerships, and amplify our presence across Canada. This role will be responsible for building and executing integrated marketing plans across Canadian brand events, activations, corporate brand partnerships, Influencers. owned retail enhancements and seeding within the Canadian Market.
Manager will collaborate with the adidas Golf NAM Brand Marketing team, Global Brand Marketing team, adidas Golf Leadership team and other internal stakeholders to deliver critical brand and product stories to market. The ideal candidate is a collaborative marketer with a strong mix of strategic thinking, creativity, and executional excellence.
Key Accountabilities:
Strategic Planning
- Apply and adapt Global GTM marketing plans, creative and resources in a compelling, consumer-focused manner to connect with Canadian consumers.
- Develop and maintain meaningful relationships with Global GTM teams provide constructive feedback to influence benefits and efficiencies to our market that have not been previously considered.
- Work closely with Sales & Key Accounts to execute all product launch initiatives at customer level. Ensure timely and cost effectiveness across consumer touch points.
Brand Partnerships
- Brand Ambassadors : Support Canada Sales Team in the facilitation of CLICK (sales system) set up for key staff partners. Ideate and develop annual gifting program
- Influencers : Identify, Manage and develop relationships with adidas golf Canadian Brand Ambassadors. Facilitate all aspects of partnership agreements including but not limited to negotiations, payment processing, key program support, seeding, etc.
- Corporate Partnerships : Lead day-to-day management and operations of corporate brand partnership inclusive of story support, content creation, seeding, and in-market execution. Partnerships can include but are not limited to First Tee, PGA of Canada Scramble, CPGA Programs, etc.
- Seeding : Aid in creation, execution, and distribution of Canadian seeding kits inclusive of product ordering, kit concepting and curation, as well as final execution. Partner with on maintaining relationship with external seeding kit partner.
Endemic Media Partnerships
- Working with Brand Director, develop and manage endemic media partnerships, marketing business plans, including the development of digital programs, events, seeding, and enhanced opportunities
Event Management
- Provide appropriate support for trade, industry, brand events, including but not limited to major Canadian golf events, consumer shows, trade shows, consumer experiential events
- NAM Event Support : Collaborate with NAM Brand Marketing Manager for Canadian inclusion and support in market-wide events.
Office Management
- Sales Support:
- Provide guidance to Sales on key monthly in-store marketing & merchandising initiatives to ensure consistent focus on brand priorities at key accounts.
- Participate in account presentations to key customers as required.
- Budget Management
- Manage a 7-figure marketing working budget.
- Work with Brand Director on the development of an annual MWB plans
- Submit monthly budget/latest estimate as well as complete comments for financial reporting.
- 3PL Management
- Canada Office Management
- Lead the development of Sales support materials and catalogues.
- In partnership with Product, lead seasonal changeover of marketing collateral in Adidas Golf showrooms, lobbies and meeting rooms to always ensure consistent brand messaging.
Knowledge Skills and Abilities:
- Experience in managing all facets of media planning/buying, communications, creative development
- Experience in managing customers, vendors, external agencies
- Direct experience in event management
- Experience managing a budget
- Proven track record as a creative and strategic thinker
- Familiarity with the digital landscape – including Social/ Search/ OLV
- Strong analytical skills and understanding of the Canadian consumer environment
- Strong leader and peer influencer
- Proven ability work in a local high-performance environment, while engaging and contributing in a larger multi-national organization
- Excellent command of the English language, with excellent written, presentation and verbal communication skill with a strong attention to detail
- Ability to meet strict and demanding deadlines
- Proficiency in MS Excel, MS Word, MS Outlook, MS PowerPoint
- Bilingualism an asset
- Golf experience strongly recommended
- Travel up to 30% required
- Ability to lift and carry samples/products weighing up to 30lbs.
Requisite Education and Experience / Minimum Qualifications::
- Minimum 4-6 years of marketing management experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or a related discipline, or an equivalent combination of education and experience required.
- At adidas we offer a Hybrid work policy which requires attendance in the office Monday through Thursday, with the flexibility to work remotely on Friday each week. For work requiring a high degree of collaboration or an in-person presentation, in-office attendance is required even on Friday

The anticipated low and high end of the base pay range for this position is $86,000 CAD - $115,000 CAD. Actual salary will be based on various factors, such as a candidate’s experience, qualifications, skills and competencies, proficiency for the role.
