Purpose & Overall Relevance for the Organization  

We are currently looking for an experienced SAP IBP Consultant for our adidas Tech HUB in Herzogenaurach. As a member of our central Tech chapter “Engineering SAP & Corporate - Planning” you will use your experience and knowledge to build, improve and extend capabilities of our global “Supply Planning” solutions. Next to this you will work in close collaboration with our planning transformation program “Future Planning Solutions”, as well as the challenging and fast paced SAP S/4HANA transformation program. 

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities 

• Tools or SAP skills
  • Implementation (preferred) experience in  SAP IBP. Trained and did PoC etc is ok. Must have to knowledge about SAP IBP
  • SAP APO – Demand Planning (DP), Supply Network Planning ( SNP) are Nice to have or would be added advantage for the candidate.
  • Knowledge about S4 HANA is good to have, should know atleast what the tool is & how integration to SAP IBP works
  • Have a basic understanding how Agile methodology works.  Plus: Worked in SAP Implementation project on agile methodology
• Key responsibilities
  • include coordinating with product teams to collect business requirements & translate them into system configurations
  • Drive requirements gathering & implementation for reporting & S OP workstream within the transformation program.  à would be helpful if there is a prior SAP IBP S OP implementation experience
  • Consulting Product Ownership ( Communicating with PO’s ) team in shaping requirements to achieve maximum business value in most efficient and effective technology approach 
  • Interacting with Demand/Supply/Fulfillment Product teams, as well as the software engineering team in Headquarters and Markets to understand, configure and deploy tools in this domain and integrate data required for planning 
  • Translating specifications into detailed designs on application and database level to efficiently implement (performing build /configurations in SAP IBP)  requirements

  • Will be a team member in the lowest pyramid of the team, so having a learning & growing mindset
  • Peers would be new or junior resources so should be able train & learn from each other.
  • Mindset to work hands-on on the system and not looking for coordination or Project management tasks
  • Flexible to accept other modules tasks or topics due to change in program priority Eg. Work in SAP IBP Supply Planning module.
  • Open to Travelling. Not regularly,  but for eg once in half a year to Porto as part of testing or Golive.

• Education Required 

• Four-year college or university degree with focus on computer science or related areas, or equivalent combination of education and experience  
• Proficient spoken and written command of English 
• Certification in relevant technology (e.g. SAP) and methodology (e.g. Scrum)  areas is a plus
